Check-in at your convenience – the four ways to check-in for your bmi flight
1. ONLINE CHECK-IN

Online Check-in with print boarding pass facility is simple and convenient and saves you time at the airport. Available on many bmi e-ticket routes departing London Heathrow, Belfast and Dublin* and all bmi regional routes departing Aberdeen, Brussels, Cologne, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds/Bradford, Manchester and Norwich.
Log onto www.flybmi.com/onlinecheckin and follow the onscreen prompts. Within the Online Check-in process you can choose
your seat, using the online seat map** and print your boarding pass at home before you leave for the airport. Once at the airport drop any bags you have at the bmi Fast Bag Drop and go straight to departures.
Online Check-in is available any time from 24 hours before your flight and up to 30 minutes before your scheduled departure.
2. SELF CHECK-IN
Fly through Check-in with the use of our Self Check-in machines. With more features to retrieve your booking, including your online booking reference and your passport, you can benefit from features such as checking in a friend if you are flying Business or Economy Flexible on the same booking.
Self Check-in machines are available at most UK airports for travel on many of our bmi routes, regardless of whether you’re travelling on an e-ticket, or ATB cardboard ticket and close 30 minutes prior to departure for UK Domestic and Eastern European Shorthaul flights and 45 minutes prior to departure for all other routes where applicable.
All passengers travelling in Economy (on Shorthaul routes) are required to use Online Check-in or Self Check-in where available. If you are travelling in Business or Economy Flexible, or are a Gold or Silver Diamond Club member you have the option of using the manned Check-in Desks to check-in for your flight.
3. PRIORITY CHECK-IN DESK

If you’re flying Business or Economy Flexible, take advantage of our Priority Check-in desks. Regardless of fare choice, bmi Diamond Club Gold members can also use these desks, and Silver card members can use Priority Check-in when they travel on any fare except sale fares.
4. bmi WEB POINTS***
At the airport, there are bmi Webpoints that give access to flybmi.com. They’re another convenient way for you to check in online when you arrive more than 30 minutes before your flight. You can also use them to book flights more than two hours ahead, and to check your bmi Diamond Club account.
* Passengers printing their boarding cards at home and flying from Dublin must present an acceptable form of photographic ID. When you drop your bags at our Online Fast Bag Drop desks at Dublin, your printed boarding pass will be exchanged for a boarding card which will enable you to proceed through security.
**This facility is not available to passengers travelling on Economy Saver or Sale fares.
*** Available around the check-in areas at London Heathrow, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and in the lounge areas at Heathrow and Manchester.
