Head Honcho

Designed on classic lines, these winter hats mean business

St James’s Street, Mayfair, is a bastion of tradition, with its gun shops, gentlemen’s outfitters and old-fashioned barber’s shop. Here, too, is the venerable Lock & Co Hatters (founded in 1676). Handsome homburgs, toppers and natty tweed caps are among the delights – though not every chap could carry off the splendid red felt fez.
