No, this isn’t a blogpost about a gorgeous new range of pet beds (although, if you’re in need, check these out). It’s about purchasing a cock-a-doodle-cute cushion to help the animals of Lebanon – and to give your home a dash of designer savoir faire.

Buy one for US$350 (around £220), and you’ll not only be helping the feathered creatures featured, but also cats, dogs and wildlife, thanks to the wonderful NGO Animals Lebanon. The organisation works to raise awareness of animal issues in the country, from encouraging proper care of cats and dogs to rescuing animals kept in substandard accommodation. All proceeds from the sale of the Djeijeh Cushion go the charity.
