Rock legend Paul McCartney has remastered his 1973 Wings album, Band on the Run, and is releasing the special-edition on 1 November 2010. He spoke to Voyager editor, Britt Collins, for the November issue of the magazine.
What did Britt, lifelong Beatle fan, think? “I’m not keen on Wings, but McCartney is arguably one of the greatest songwriters in rock history. Even after 50-odd years in the business, dealing with journalists hassling him non-stop for soundbites, Paul was incredibly gracious, unpretentious and funny during our interview. He genuinely tries to live as normal a life as possible – even taking the London Underground occasionally. So he claims.”
