See the Rolling Stones in London

[ UNTIL 3 JULY ]
The Scream Gallery is showing a rare and revealing collection of snaps of the Rolling Stones, featuring unseen pictures from 1971 taken by legendary photographers such as David Montgomery. Having produced some of the most memorable images of the ’60s, he caught Jagger here wearing nothing but Warhol’s iconic album cover for Sticky Fingers. www.screamlondon.com
[ 15 JULY- 31 AUGUST ]
Atlas gallery hosts London’s second Rolling Stones exhibition. It focuses on the unique images captured by Dominique Tarle in 1971. Tarle spent six months living with the band and their entourage when they holed up in Villa Nellcote – a spooky mansion in the south of France, once a Nazi headquarters, rented by Keith Richards – to evade the taxman and record their seminal tenth album, Exile On Main Street. What happened behind the villa doors is shrouded in mystery, but Tarle’s photographs will help you get a little bit closer. www.atlasgallery.com

TAKE A JOURNEY TO ARABIA IN 3D
This summer’s must-see documentary, Arabia 3D is a visual feast of a nation shrouded in myth and mystery – Saudia Arabia. Shot in glorious Imax 3D, it presents glimpses of everyday life as it travels through stark deserts, ruins of lost cities and plunges into the vivid world of the Red Sea. The filmmakers were given access to dozens of sites in the kingdom, including Mecca to capture the largest gathering on the planet. Writer Robert Lacey, a British expert on the Kingdom who worked as an adviser on the film, says it’s a symbol of the changes that are happening there. “It’s very moving. There are shots at the pilgrimage that will bring tears to your eyes.” Out 1 August
