A million visit Lebanon in July

The Lebanese capital topped the NY Times travel poll back in January, and it seems there’s no stopping its tourism upswing. Beirut’s lively cultural mix + its great food and nightlife = the ideal destination. As AFP report, over one million travellers came Lebanon this July – a record, according to the country’s tourism ministry. Of course, we would like to think that our recent article on Lebanese cuisine and our guide to Beirut contributed to this spike, but, hey, we can’t take all the credit.
