The London HQ of the super-secret Masonic Society was the apt setting to reveal the winners at The S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2009.

With the judging being done on a more international level, it was only 4 British establishments whichmade it onto the list. So Voyager takes great pride in the fact that high end Oriental restaurant Hakkasan was among the 4 as the man who launched it – Alan Yau – is our major foodie profile in next month’s issue. Talk about finger on the pulse – and rice and noodles while we’re at it.
