LUXURY TRAVEL USED to mean sailing through customs with a vanity case on your wrist; think Grace Kelly. A modern take comes courtesy of the handbag designer Nancy Gonzalez, whose items appeared in Sex and the City and have a waiting list at Bergdorf Goodman.
The Colombian-born, New York-based designer, whose name is synonymous with exotic leathers, has joined forces with the high-science American dermatology company Milbar Laboratories to create a one-off travel case containing M Lab anti-ageing products. The limited edition set is being unveiled at Harrods in
late November priced at an eye-watering £2,000. For this you get a black crocodile bag, lined with suede and filled with eight full size products to the value of £825. A waiting list has started, but what price luxury? M Lab’s skincare is also available at Faces boutiques in the Middle East.
