Members of bmi’s reward scheme, diamond
club, can now enjoy complimentary food and
drink onboard when travelling in the economy
cabin on our shorthaul routes to and from
London Heathrow.* You’ll also have preferential
seating at the front of the cabin on these
services, so you can get on and off and on your
way more quickly.
These new benefits are available to blue
plus, silver and gold diamond club members.
To take advantage of them, always quote
your diamond club membership number when
booking and carry your membership card with
you when you fly.
Every time
As a diamond club member you’ll earn miles every
time you fly with bmi. You can also earn and spend
your miles with our partner airlines, including all the
Star Alliance member airlines.
On time
We’ve continued to improve our punctuality and
we’re now the most punctual British airline flying
out of London Heathrow**. Plus we’ve improved
our online check-in facility and increased the
number of fast bag drop locations to save you
time at the airport.

Whether you’re travelling for business or
pleasure, you earn miles on all fares you
purchase with bmi, and qualifying fares with
our partner airlines – including all Star Alliance
member airlines.
You’ll earn two kinds of miles: membership
status and destinations miles. Membership
status miles simply determine your level of
membership – you start at blue, move
through blue plus to silver then to gold.
destinations miles are the ones you can spend
on rewards for yourself.
Earn free flights faster
You can also clock up miles by staying at
any of our partner hotels or renting a car
with Hertz and with the bmi credit card. You
can earn free flights more quickly than with
other airlines and improve your membership
status faster. The miles you earn can be spent
on flights with bmi and all our partner airlines,
as well as on gifts, hotels and car hire.
Extra privileges
As you build up the miles, your benefits
increase as well. For example, blue members
get preferential rates on airport parking; at
blue plus you qualify for complimentary food
and drink onboard our shorthaul Heathrow
services; at silver you’ll enjoy access to bmi
diamond club lounges*; and gold members
enjoy all the privileges of Star Alliance Gold
membership, along with access to bmi and
partner lounges worldwide, regardless of fare.
