The lightweight ASUS Eee
PC, at only 0.92kg, is a good
compromise if you have kids
taking their first steps online
or for surfing the net on the
move. It has a 7-inch screen,
built-in webcam, speakers
and microphone, and a
battery life of three-and-ahalf
hours. For the more
techie minded, it has an Intel
CPU and runs on Linux but is
Windows XP compatible too.
