Taking you closer to commerce and culture
bmi CUSTOMERS WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THREE NEW ROUTES AVAILABLE FROM 26 MARCH
THREE NEW ROUTE launches will soon bring even more European centres of commerce and culture closer to our business and leisure customers.
Firstly, we’re delighted to launch the new daily return service from Edinburgh to Zurich. This will be the only air link between Scotland and the main Swiss centre of finance and commerce. As well as appealing to business passengers, Switzerland’s largest city also has much to offer the leisure traveller. Attractions include the old town located on the Limmat river with streets lined with fascinating medieval buildings, cafés and bistros to satisfy the weary sightseeing traveller.
Our second new return service will operate from Aberdeen to Kristiansand on the south coast of Norway. Recognised as the capital of the region, Kristiansand boasts a beautiful archipelago with lush green surroundings in which to relax or take part in the many activities available. The town is a festival city and hosts events appealing to a wide variety of ages and tastes such as the Quart Music Festival, which takes place over four days at the beginning of July and attracts international acts as well as Norwegian musicians, and the Kristiansand International Children’s Film Festival (24-29 April).
Finally, our services to the Danish capital, Copenhagen (pictured), are growing with the launch of a daily return service from Leeds Bradford. Copenhagen continues to flourish as a centre of culture and the arts, and is one of the rare capital cities where you can enjoy a largely unspoilt historic skyline.
It’s impossible to leave the city without taking in the ultra-modern furniture for which the region is famous. Visit the Scandinavian Furniture Fair, an annual show taking place throughout May at the Bella Center. This new route complements our existing services from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
