on time and online bmi is the first carrier to bring web points to London Heathrow
Web points are designed to save you time at the airport. The computer terminals, which have direct links to flybmi.com, will enable you to access your flight information instantly. If you arrive at least an hour before your flight, you can skip the queues and check in online, or, if you’ve lost or forgotten your boarding card, you can simply reprint it. What’s more, you can make bookings for flights that leave at least two hours later, and you can also check up on how your diamond club account is faring.
Look out for web points around the check-in areas at Heathrow, Glasgow and Edinburgh and in the lounges at Heathrow and Manchester.
Miles more miles
To celebrate the launch of our newest route, Jeddah, we’re offering our diamond club members double destinations miles when travelling on this service until 30 June 2006. The direct three-times-a-week service between London Heathrow and Jeddah commenced on 18 May 2006. To receive double destinations miles, simply register for the promotion on flybmi.com/diamondclub and travel on this route before 30 June 2006.
bmi terminal change at Manchester airport
From 1 June 2006, all bmi longhaul flights from Manchester, and the Manchester to Toulouse route, will operate from Terminal 3 as opposed to Terminal 1. bmi check-in desks can be found in Terminal 3 to the left of the bmi ticket desk, and flights will be departing from gates 44 and 55.
Eligible passengers on all routes out of Terminal 3 will be able to use the bmi business and diamond lounge facilities in the terminal.
New recruits
In April, SWISS International Air Lines and South African Airways joined the Star Alliance confirming its status as the largest network of airline carriers. The additions will increase travel opportunities for all diamond club members across the world, with increased coverage to Europe, Asia, North and South America and Africa. To celebrate, all diamond club members can earn double miles when they fly with either SWISS or South African Airways from 1 June to 31 July 2006. For more information, visit flybmi.com/diamondclub and see April’s edition of the diamond club magazine.
Diamond deal
